The Fractal Sea - Yet another fractal gallery (always under construction)
It is graphics-heavy, slower to load than most of this site.

More fractals at The Land of Fractalia
Some of my best fractals are now being offered as high-quality framed prints at a local gallery.
AMO galleryThe files are zip-compressed, you will need something to unpack them. 7Zip is one of the best, and not a big download. I never recommend WinZip because it is shareware and naggy, and why bother when there is something that's really free?
Kansas Nights - I wrote this for Hashmark Pin, the world's smallest hacker, when the unfortunate Borrower was stranded in Topeka (story withdrawn from web archive -- sorry). It is an attempt to evoke an atmosphere of loneliness and longing mingled with trains passing in the night. All of the sounds used in it were computer-generated. Some like it (I do), some don't.
I am working on a movie version of Kansas Nights, using fractals and railroad pics. Interesting. The finished piece that I have right now weighs in around 18MB -- so I am not going to upload it just now unless someone is particularly interested. Then I will borrow a DSL connection and have at it.
Everything Is Magic! - This extensive doodle was the last thing I completed before I laid off music again.
The Black Swan - a short tone poem with no real theme, but it has its good moments
My Lucky Black Cat - Made for pure fun, now it's a memorial of sorts...Friday Coyote Moonchild was the sweetest cat ever born, but he was doomed to die young. Folks, don't let your kitties roam. Too many diseases get passed around that way. The "meowing" in this piece is not recorded cat voices, BTW. I produced the effects by manipulating the sound with the tracker.
My Head's Morning Dance - This one will either wake you up or drive you bazonkers. There was this odd bit of melody in my head one morning...
You want free? Well...everything here is, more or less, but here's some animated smilies. I got started making some custom smilies for Jenn's Rockfest Forum, the Most Smilied Forum On The Web - now consigned to the Great Bitbucket In The Sky. She has a writing forum now. I love doing animation, but I don't want it all over my normal pages. ![]()
