08/08/09 ~ About time to scrap this page, since keeping it up is not my thing ;-)

08/03/15 ~ Good grief. There is plenty of "new" going on around here, but I have neglected the site. Speaking of neglected sites, I had a request for a revival of my old site -- I mean oooooold. So, here is Arual's lil house on the peninsula in somethink like its pristine glory. I took out a lot of links, tucked in a small comment here and there. There are still 404-compliant links and there may be missing bits, so beware.

07/04/28 ~ Started the IrfanView Effects Gallery to celebrate Version 4 of my favorite graphics proggie! It is sooooooooooo good! (IrfanView, I mean.) Work in progress yet, but there are a couple of pages.

07/01/23 ~ Just a few touchups, and I'm offering my HOSTS file to anyone interested in killing ads the easy way. I got up with a blasting headache and don't want to do any real work yet todday...

06/11/05 ~ I'm playing again, added "breadcrumbs" and site search. Have fun. I really should be redoing my "Links" page...

08/15/06 ~ LOL I forgot I had put in the joke-a-day script, freaked myself out (it doean't show when I'm editing off-line). Then I found an ooky link on this page...just obsolete, but em-bare-assing.

06/13/06 ~ The SMF v.1.0.7 Skin Mania forum is now open to the public. you can't register, but you can log in as "nobody" to peek and post. Not a very exciting place, but it's there. It was set up just to demo one theme, seems like a shame to throw it away.

06/03/06 - Finally got around to validating the main style sheets last night. It took some time to get them organized anyway. Now I'm catching up on fixing and updating older pages - not the really old ones, but...you know. Still have to tidy the extra style sheets for art and fractals. The lab - well, we know what goes on there. Fun first, valid later. Now the the front header sort of matches the forum, anyway.

Why don't I have it on all the pages? Pfah, waste of space. You know where you are.

06/05/27 - still finding and fixing the odd link. The Fractal Sea is looking pretty good.

05/16/06 ~ Oh, nothing much...just a whole new site with a real domain name for a change. Re-doing the style sheets and everything, ack.

04/10/06 ~ Look what I got stuck with! LOL

3/28/06 ~ Working on site again, altering a few things to allow more variation in individual page headers. So...if you get lost, it's my fault!

3/24/06 ~ Submitted finished novel to publisher. Waiting.........

03/05/06 ~ w00t - we're going dynamic. Pardon my php, but it's a lot easier to use an include for headers, nav, and the odd bit of stuff that has to be on a lot of pages but is subject to change. Nothing fancy yet... There may be a few parts missing while I edit bignum files. Some of it may not be put back. Change happens. If it just went 404-compliant, well...at least I revised my 404 page *chuckle*

12/16/05 ~ All right, I finally got started at Cafe Press.

10/11/05 ~Ursus2 is giving me a tickle too. I may have to get some of the stamps!

10/08/05 ~ Actually I rather like it *giggle*. A-a-a-anyway, life goes on. Less than an hour ago, I demolished a website and brought it forth from the ashes. Not quite finished in some respects, The Healthy Way is looking fairly healthy.

09/22/05 ~ All right, everybody has to have these seasick backgrounds that move behind the text (well, that's how I see it). I switched mine on.

09/19/05 ~ Door County Scarecrow ~ the fun part of my new job.

09/17/05 ~ RL is catching up with me in a more positive way than I had expected. I have a job that makes use of skills that I have sat here developing for years.

On the flip side, pardon the attempted pun, this page had a strange problem that I didn't notice until a fellow webster pointed it out to me. I'm still trying to find a sensible solution. For the time being there is a dumb workaround that keeps the bottom half of this text area from vanishing when the mouse hovers that cutesy navbar on the right.

09/02/05 ~ LOL I found some hilarious typos in my style sheet that had a few things bollixed. Here an accidental semicolonectomy, there a missing letter...

08/31/05 ~ Hooray, I'm cleaning up my code a little; things got rather messy. Style sheet still needs to be better organized.

08/27/05 ~ got somewhat of a site map. Frustration mounting re the state of the WWW... don't ask. I have been playing with the (http://www.doorpi.net/~aruwyrd/ - dead link, god damn the idiots)lil house on the peninsula, just seeing what can be done with layout and decoration via CSS. Same sort of tomfoolery going on here, but more subdued. There isn't much content there LOL.

08/21-22/05 ~ More fooling around with the site; it's about time. Connection pooped out before I could upload the last post-midnight changes. Recent additions: more art, poetry, my skuzzy resume, tweaks to the style sheets, just little details.

08/04/05 ~ Got some of the writing pages done, finally.

07/05/05 ~ Still playing with the style sheets. Idiot Exploder gives me a hard time. "What don't you understand about _____?" she snarled, as she savagely hit F5 again. Trust me, it probably looks better in K-Meleon.

02/19/05 ~ I'm having an acute attack of narcissism over Ursus. Seeing the cover displayed at ecfans.com is a kick.

02/06/05 ~ The site... again. Born in a moment of desperation in 2004, vanished in a puff of cybersmoke on the last day of that year, here it is being rebuilt.

This time, I am doing it right with style sheets instead of -- whatever. LOL.
